Starting out as a Swiss tobacco line Davidoff was and still is known for creating some of the finest cigars and tobacco products in the world.
Created by Zino Davidoff the Davidoff brand become instantly recognisable with quality and style and in 1969 he was awarded an accolade by The Cuban Havana brand for his Chateau collection of cigars. By 1990 production of these cigars ceased as there was a disagreement between producers.
The Davidoff company then moved into producing other luxury items such as watches and silverware and then fragrances, although the tobacco products are still in production today.
Davidoff Fragrances
In 1984 the first Davidoff fragrance for men was released, this was Davidoff by Davidoff which was a great success.
In 1988 Davidoff released Cool Water for men and Cool Water for women both of which were refreshing and light fragrances that went on to be classics that sell in their thousands still each year.
Both of these fragrances symbolised the end of the 80’s yuppie era that was dominated by thick scents that were often seen as too heavy for everyday wear. 1988 also saw the release of Zino Davidoff for men which was a traditional cologne.
Next came variations on the Cool Water fragrances such as Cool Summer, Cool Water Deep, Cool Water Frozen (for men and women), Cool water Game and many more.
In 2003 Davidoff launched their Echo perfume for men and women which was another hit for the brand, again this was followed by variations of the fragrance which include Echo Women Summer Fizz and Echo Summer Fizz for men.
The most recent of the Davidoff fragrances are Davidoff Cool Water Women Ice Fresh and Davidoff Cool Water Men Ice Fresh which are once again based on the aquatic fragrance of the original cool water.
Other Davidoff Products
Davidoff also produce beauty products for men and women that are of a high quality. It is this reason that the Davidoff brand has been so well known and loved for so many years. As well as these Davidoff still produce watches, bags and tobacco products and there are new items being added to the list each year.
