Revlon is one of the most well-known American cosmetic brands in the world. It was created in 1932 by brothers Joseph and Charles Revson along with a chemist Charles Lachman. Together they developed a new manufacturing process for nail enamel and by 1937 Revlon nail enamel was being sold in shops.
The fortune of Revlon went from strength to strength until it was sold to Pantry Pride in 1985. Today it Revlon have many different shareholders and is still one of the leading cosmetic brands in the world.

The first perfume that Revlon released was a light and subtle daytime fragrance for women which was called Charlie and this was released in 1973. Charlie was the number one bestseller for many years and sales of its perfumes exceeded $1 billion by 1977.
Today Charlie is still in production and very well loved by women all over the world, Charlie gift packs are very popular and are sold in their thousands every single year.
As well as the signature scent Charlie Revlon have produced many more perfumes. These include: Fire & Ice, Flair, Lasting, She, Xia Xiang Soft Pearls and more. The only male sense to be released by Revlon to date is Fire & Ice cologne.
